Parowax recommended for non-edible usage
by: Dog Treat Icing Expert

The best thing to do is check with your vet before giving your pets anything not food grade made or approved for consumption.

There is an image of Parowax online and on the box itself it recommends use for rubbing on snow skis, water skis, and surfboards to reduce friction. Other uses mentioned on the internet include: used to seal home-made jellies and jams, used on fruits, vegetables and candy to make them look pretty and shiny. Does not sound like an ingredient for ingestion. Would you eat it yourself?
